Key APOAA Executive Committee Meeting Approves Third-Party Audit and 5-Year Strategic Roadmap

LAHORE: A key meeting of the Executive Committee of the All Pakistan Outdoor Advertisers Association (APOAA) was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Mian Muhammad Rafique, where several important administrative, financial, and strategic decisions for the association were approved.

The meeting was attended by Executive Committee members Imran Jafri, Dr. Nadeem Chaudhry, Mian Sajid Shahzad, Mian Tariq, Sheikh Fahad, Irfan Khawar Dar, and Adila Noman, along with Secretary General Col. (Retd.) Shahid Hassan. Senior Vice Chairman Muhammad Aamir Siddiqui joined the proceedings via Zoom.

To ensure transparency and institutional governance across all association operations, the committee approved conducting a third-party audit and formed a dedicated committee to oversee the process. Additionally, approval was granted to establish committees for redesigning the APOAA website, preparing a five-year strategic roadmap, and defining future operational priorities.

The Executive Committee also formally approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) to promote the outdoor advertising sector and create new commercial trade opportunities.

To strengthen financial sustainability, the committee sanctioned the formation of a body tasked with exploring new, sustainable channels for fund generation. Finally, the meeting approved active participation in the upcoming local advertisers’ elections in Lahore in the broader interest of the industry.

Commending the elections as a positive step toward democratic process, the leadership reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing APOAA’s role in safeguarding collective trade interests, ensuring institutional stability, and driving industry growth.
